Makrades

Makrades built at the top of a verdant hill with perennial olive trees, is a very old village with history which goes back to the 13th century. It is possible that its first residents who were craftsmen built the famous Aggelokastro  which is only one kilometer away from Makrades. The distinctive characteristic in Makrades is its architecture which is still maintained even though 8 centuries have passed since  establishment.
