Apraos

Apraos (also called Kalamaki) is a quiet beach resort at northeastern Corfu situated between Agios Spiridon and Kassiopi. Down a winding narrow and extremely steep road you will find the sandy beach stretching across the bay. Many boat trips stop at this sandy beach with its crystal clear water making it quite popular during the summer months.

Apraos is very calm and child friendly as it’s away from the roads and the beach is gifted by peacefull and shallow water that shelves off gently. Three restaurants overlooking the beach serve typical Greek cuisine an two beach bars serve drinks and snacks. This is as after just a two-minute drive you are at Kassiopi and after a four-minute drive you are at the Shopping Centre of Acharavi – both offering all facilities from supermarkets to medical services to schools to public bus services. Corfu Town and Corfu airport are 45 km south – each drive there an unforgettable journey along the dentelated shores of the island.
